For the first time in his life, Wes Ahern has encountered something—someone—he can’t fix. Not with his hands, his words, not even with his love.

His head tells him Abby had to get out of Colorado to heal from the nightmare that nearly took her from him. To mend her wounded body, piece her broken spirit back together, and find out who she is behind the mask she felt forced to wear.

His first instinct was always to protect her. Still is. But as he faces his own pain, an agonizing realization dawns: that while he needs her more than his next breath, the best place for her may not be with him. Because while he always had her back, the secrets they kept—even from each other—have the power to destroy them.

When their paths cross again, will their souls still recognize each other?

Note: Back to You is the conclusion of the Chaotic Love Duet. Often dark and sometimes jarring, this book also contains references to childhood trauma, kidnapping, and PTSD.

Today we are celebrating the release of the second title in Claudia Burgoa’s Chaotic Love duet! BACK TO YOU is now live and you can find links for the first book in the set, BEGIN WITH YOU, below.

Back to You is the second book in the Chaotic Love Series and cannot be read as a standalone. The first book, Begin With You really sets the history and story so you will want to read that first.

I’m just going to jump right in and tell you how quickly I devoured this book. At least as quickly as I could considering that August is the biggest time of the year with my career and I work 12-16 hour work days. I have no shame in admitting that when I went to go run errands, I sat in my car longer than necessary so that I could get more of Wes and Abby.

Back to You picks up at the end of Begin With You and without giving anything away, both Wes and Abby are on their own personal journey. Both have been haunted by their pasts and are having to work through their own situations. Their story is inspiring and I absolutely fell in love with both of their journeys.

“If our footsteps ever meet on the same trail, I hope we recognize each other and that we can continue walking along the same path.”

That. Right. There. Seriously. Abby and Wes’ love was just so inspiring because it is raw and honestly and quiet frankly, ugly. Which in turns makes it magical and beautiful. I think their story will resonate with others and I truly believe that if someone is reading Back to You and might be in similar place as Wes and/or Abby, it will serve to inspire them and help them get through their own personal journey.

One this is for sure. Burgoa sure does love to sucker punch you in the gut and the heart with her stories and Back to You is no expectation. It swallowed me whole and spit me out in pieces. Then, one by one, it pieced me back together.

You seriously don’t want to miss out on this series. GET IT NOW!

About Claudia Burgoa

Claudia grew up with a childhood that resembled a caffeine-injected soap opera.

She lives in Colorado working for a small IT company, managing her household filled with three confused dogs, her geek husband, two daughters wrought with fandoms and a son who thinks he’s the boss of the house. To survive she works continually to find purpose for the voices flitting through her head, plus she consumes high quantities of chocolate to keep the last threads of sanity intact.
