“I hate him. Roman King. Even his name makes him sound like a jerk . If jerk is even a strong enough word to describe this guy. Too bad it makes my blood pound in my veins at the mention of it. I hate him, but I have a feeling before the end of the year, I’m going to fall in love with him. I’m not sure why. He’s given me no reason to think otherwise, but there’s something about him that calls to me. I hate him for that too.”
I have read a lot of M/M romance books over the past couple years. Only a few of those books have ever been of the caliber that this one is at. This one shows the pure and true emotions these two men have for each other. There is something about a gay romance that pays respect to them and doesn’t make it just all about the sex, the honor the feelings and the romance between them. I love those books, and those stories.
Roman and Jonah have rough beginning, and a lot of obstacles to over come. They may not have handled each situation correctly, but they always came back to each other. I loved them together, they were an unlikely match, but they were so perfect for each other.
This is a must read! I loved every minute of this book.
