Black and white. Right and wrong. That’s how Craig Bailey has always lived his life. The son of a fallen, decorated police officer,He’s had no choice but to follow the rules.Until he met the ultimate bad boyand decided to follow him instead.
Henri Boudreaux is everything Bailey never knew he wanted.Mysterious, sexy, and hiding more secrets than friends. He’s exactly the kind of man Bailey knows could break his heart.
But there’s a vulnerability to Henri that calls to Bailey.A longing for a connection that Bailey is unable to resist. And while Bailey has always lived his life on the straight and narrow, he is now beginning to understand that falling in love is never so black and white.
‘Those walls of yours? I’m going to climb them. And those bridges? I’m going to be the one who burns them down’

🔥 CONFESSIONS: HENRI (Confessions: Henri #5)
This series warms my heart. These men and their stories, well they touch a part of us, a part that knows love it love. You can not deny that these men belong together.
This being the second book, well for these two guys, this one dives deeper into who they are. I loved going deeper (that’s what he said) and learning more about them. Even though this one suffers from the same issue Julien’s book did, I did enjoy reading it. These follow up books just need more. They don’t have that hook in the center that makes me go “OMG I can’t put this down” or “OMG I have to finish this story.” There was little to no angst so that made it a bit of a slower read for me.
Despite all of that, I love these men. I love their chemistry, and their love. You need to check them out
