“How we were raised, the people- good or bad- who gave us life… if those days are shrouded in darkness, embrace them and allow them to have a place in your soul. They are a part of who you are as much as the lighter, inspiring days.”

Review:

This series just keeps getting better and better. I have always been a #teamRider/Cain from the beginning, but Tanner sure did give him a run for his money. I was not expecting that, but it was a wonderful surprise. They were so Romeo and Juliet, and that made this so much more.

“I love you, princess. You fucking saved me. Not sure if you know it. But you saved me.”
“Tanner–”.
“And now I get to save you.”

I think Adelita was so strong and Tanner was everything. They had this loyalty to one another that made my heart swoon. This whole book was grueling, brutal at times, but so heartbreakingly beautiful. I couldn’t get enough of it. This is a series that I put on my “Do Not Miss” list. I implore you to check it out.

“The White Prince and the Cartel Princess. It made no sense. Two people who were never mean’t to be, found in the other, their soulmate. The half of their heart that had yet to be claimed.”
