Just as this nightmare began, I once again find myself bound, destination unknown. However, this time, my kidnapper is the man who shattered my world beyond repair.
Aleksei Popov—Russia’s number one mobster, and the man I was sold to.
His intentions for me are clear—submit, obey him, and call him master—but I won’t surrender. I’m not like the other girls. Whether that’s a blessing or curse, I’ve yet to decide. The problem is, my disobedience intrigues my captor all the more.
When we arrive in Russia, the rules change.
Saint, the man who was once a sinner, is my only salvation. What was forbidden now gives me hope that there is light in the darkness. He will risk everything to set me free.
But behind these opulent walls, things aren’t what they seem, and when the fine line between pleasure and pain begins to blur, only one thing matters—saving my soul.
I will lie.
I was once an angel, but now… I’m a fallen saint, ready to inflict my own pain and burn this hellhole to the ground.
“A love-struck Juliet smitten with her bloodstained Romeo.”

“You’re fucking fierce. And you’re no one’s victim. you never have been. Never forget it.”
I want to start out my review by stressing the point that I’m a hard one to please when it comes to trilogies (or anything longer than that, especially when it revolves around the same couple) My interest dies off after the second book because it is typically “filler” material. Nothing happens, the story hardly progresses, and it’s basically wasting my time. Like I said, I’m hard to please.
This series (trilogy) has earned its place in the hard to get on list of ones that did not kill my interest in book two. The story was explosive, the revelations gave me goosebumps, and everything else was flat-out amazing. You jump right into where book one left off. I fall even harder for Saint, Willow becomes someone I like more in this book, and Aleksei – well I’m not sure how to describe him. Man I love to hate? Man I hate to love? I guess he’s TBD at this point, it’s an edge of your seat kinda feeling as well.
I don’t know where this is going, and I don’t really care. It’s one I wasn’t expecting, and one I can’t get enough of. This is an instant classic and I know I haven’t even read the last book yet.
