Christmas Winter is lucky she loves this time of year, because her name didn’t give her much of a choice. She’s always bubbly and happy. So when she takes a job as an elf in the mall, she’s excited to spread some cheer. But Christmas could never expect what happens when she catches the eye of a stranger.
Nicholas Light owns everything he sees, and when his eyes land on the new elf in his mall’s Santa exhibit, he knows she’s no different. There’s something about her sweet innocence that he has to have, and he’ll concoct a plan to make that happen.
Warning: Grab your jingle bells and swing them over your head… This holiday quickie is gonna light up your Noel. Okay, none of that made sense. But it sounded festive, right? This book is adorable, and you’ll love it. Just don’t get tinsel stuck in the wrong places. Trust us.
First of all, let’s talk about this cover! I absolutely love it and I love when authors feature all shapes and sizes and empowers women to love themselves!
Christmas Winters is the epitome of Christmas. Seriously, just look at her name. The Christmas Holiday has always been Christmas’ favorite and something that she is very passionate about. Who would have known that her love and passion for the holiday would land her a job and catch the eye of the owner?
Nicholas Light is a very rich man but a bit of a recluse. His passion has been his job for as long as he can remember. That is until he sees a beautiful woman dressed as an elf at one of his malls. He is immediately captivated with her and begins to work out a plan that ensures they not only meet but end up working closely together. Will his plan work? Will he get the woman he has quickly become obsessed with?
This book was a super quick, super sweet read from Alexa Riley. It is packed with all the cheesiness that you can imagine. I mean…come on. Christmas. Nicholas. Christmas Light! So freaking cheesy but you can’t help but love it.
I love that Nicholas finds everything about Christmas beautiful. He has eyes only for her and he cherishes each and every thing about her mind, body and soul.
The only things that held me back with this book just a little from some of the others is that it isn’t as hot as they usually are and there isn’t a lot of story in-between. However, that absolutely does not take away the fact that I will always adore any Alexa Riley book that is put out. This one included. I had fun reading it and basking in the cheesiness.
Overall, I enjoyed this book. If you are looking for over the top sweetness with some good laughs and a story that embraces all kinds of beauty, then this is the book for you!
