Sex is not ‘routine’ any more. There are sex shops decorating the high-street, free porn all over the internet and lets not even get started on the new BDSM phenomenon. So when things get a little ‘stale’ in the bedroom, what would you do?
Carlie made a suggestion; a suggestion I wanted nothing to do with at first, but she was my wife and I’d have done anything to make her happy. I went along with her plan, even though I really didn’t want to.
It actually worked, for a while.
Until something changed.
Then I wasn’t doing it for her anymore.
Instead, it was all about secret liaisons, stolen moments and the thrill of getting caught.
My life changed overnight and there was nothing I could do to prevent it. Lust is an unstoppable emotion when it takes hold.

Rules are broken.
Mistakes are made.
Lives are destroyed.

Be careful what you wish for, because sometimes, that wish can come true.
Zachary Black was her wish.
...Until he became mine.

Review

I’m new to D. Breeze’s work and I’m so happy that I got to read this book. The blurb instantly got my attention and I immediately knew that this would be a story line that I haven’t really read.

Told from Blake’s point of view, Breeze takes us through a journey that starts with young love and the progression of life over the years. It has real life, struggling issues that many people have gone through. What I loved about this from the start, was how honest Blake was. He had one of my favorite quotes.

“No matter how old we are, men will always turn into fifteen year old boys when there is the potential for a dick joke. Don’t let anyone tell you any differently.”

Blake and Carlie marry at a young age. Carlie is a Daddy’s girl and princess and works hard to have the “perfect” life. Or at least to portray that they have that “perfect” life. When in reality, what looks good on the outside is everything but in the inside. We see them struggle to get back to the young love they once had but something is missing.

Carlie decides to invite Zack, the owner of the gym she is a member at, to join her and Blake in bed in hopes to re-spark their sex life. This is about the time that I started really getting frustrated with Carlie. Not because she wanted to bring another man into the bedroom. Let’s face it, that’s HOT 🙂 The way she handled it and everything thereafter just made me want to shake her and tell her to stop being a whiney, self-absorbed princess.

Once Zack is thrown into the mix, emotions run wild and fast. It’s clear the direction that this might be going now so I don’t really need to say much more. There are unexpected events that happen through out the journey. I will say, that this book has some seriously hot scenes. Especially the ones involving M/M.

I really enjoyed Breeze’s writing style. It flowed very easily. I can’t wait to read the next book.
